Poor performances from Ivanovic, Hazard and Fabregas. It seems everyone is scared to criticise Eden, guy needs to sort himself out, otherwise Kenedy will be benching him, as the kid done fairly well when he came on. Solid performance from Pedro and Courtois as well. Willian needs to practise his shooting (nothing new).
Doesn't look like anymore signings are coming in before Tuesday. Mourinho needs to get the whole squad back to basic and tell them how to defend again, like after 5-3 vs Spurs last year. |

If Fabregas doesn't improve, we need to see the Matic/Loftus-Cheek partnership, the kid is good, he's physically a lot better than some in the squad and he was hungry, he just needs a bit more confidence and he can get that with more game time.
Loftus-cheek, Kennedy, Falcao, Moses need more game time, these players have hunger and desire, we need to start switching things up and not keep picking the same starting 11. I'm sure Rahman will show hunger when he first starts of plays, start Remy or Falcao and bench Costa, today Costa's positioning was poor, out on the wings and not in the box, when Falcao came on he was in the box, looking for the ball, he got his goal and could've had two. Kennedy was good, he had shots from a distance which is what the attacking players need to do more, like when we had Lampard, the guy would shoot for fun, didn't necessarily always go in but his shooting caused problems for opposition teams. We have the players in the squad to win the title but we are too predictable in play style, need to give different players more game time, get Oscar back in the squad because unless Pogba happens we all know he will be straight back in the squad after the international break, because he's the supposed swap player. If the team don't change things up and with the way City have started, they can forget about the title or possibly any trophy to be honest |
