Looks like liverpool outplayed tottenham, Suarez playing great again, can't wait to watch it on MOTD2.

Tottenham spent quite a lot in the summer, but can't seem to get far.

Rivaldo wrote Liverpool was unstoppable today best performance from a team I've seen this season, and Spurs should of signed better players they aren't stepping up.

Agreed, i stayed up til 5am (game started at 3am, also i live in australia) i think liverpool can finish top 4.
If we can either draw or win against city and chelsea and bolster the sqaud in january, hopefully we can win the title for stevie!

With the squad you have at the moment, you are far from title contenders - you have a very good starting 11 but that's it. You need to buy some quality squad players in January and you may have a chance, but I don't see you spending big tbh

I only see the highlights on MOTD, we're having real trouble controlling games, creating chances and finishing games off. I think in time when our team gels together more we will get better, we normally play our best stuff after the Christmas period.

We tend to play better in the big occasions, I would love to get a win at the emirates.

In an interview, Mourinho was saying Chelsea fails to kill off games, because they don't have a "lethal striker".
They then ask him will he be buying a big striker in January, and he says "No".

I'm just sitting there like

So he obviously feels we need to buy a lethal striker, which we do but for one reason or another, he cannot do that.

Either that, or he's playing it down ;)

I think he's just playing it down, he must know it will be hard to go out and buy a world class striker. Due to the fact there isn't many available. Its the same sort of scenario of him saying he doesn't expect us to win the league but in his mind we will be challenging for it. Probably just to lift the pressure off, good mind games really

The two biggest possibilities for Chelsea are: Falcao or Lewandoski.
Falcao - Apparently unhappy at Monaco, and possible that he may request to move away. Only other interested team is Real Madrid.

Lewandowksi - Contract running out in the summer, Dortmund would take anything for him, tipped to move in January. Other clubs interested in him: Bayern, Man city, Real madrid, Barcelona & Arsenal.

Falcao has come out and said he's happy at Monaco, I wouldn't really want him, he's good but he's at the chance to join us, our biggest mistake was not signing him when he left Porto. Monaco won't sell him for less then anything they paid and he's not worth 50m+

Rooney maybe?

Best

Well shit, we've got Man City in the champions league.
I'm not too bothered except from the height they have in their squad, we should beat them though.

I feel sorry for Arsenal, but I hope they destroy Bayern proper

I'm tipping Bayern to win it again this year, even though they lost to city, they are the best team in Europe.

Strong in every area of the pitch and assuming Lewandowski goes there, they will be unreal.

Also on another note, feel s bit sorry for AVB for coping the sack for a 5-0 loss.

You cant expect to be top of the table when you bring in a lot of players from different countries in on transfer window, they need time to gel.

Munich always do badly against English sides though, Arsenal went there and beat them on their own turf. So did we (Chelsea) in the champions league final... City beat them with their second team the other week too!

Apart from myself, is anyone else thinking that especially at the Etihad stadium, Man city could beat Barcelona? I think that draw will be different to what people expect, Barcelona aren't the squad they were 2 years ago.

Arsenal and Munich, even though Arsenal beat them 2-0 at the Allianz last season and that Munich's results against British clubs isn't great recently, i think the Munich will beat Arsenal, they have an even more improved squad to last season.

It's good see Drogba returning to Stamford bridge, i think if we can hold off him and Wesley then we'll be ok, but Drogba will probably show us why we need a top class striker.

Man united. What can i say, drawn easy teams as always, i see them easily beating Olympiakos.

I think AC Milan vs Atletico could be a good game, and Real have it easy in my opinion.

I think Madrid will destroy them, Milan are far from the team they once were and now have a pretty poor team and are sitting bottom half of the Serie A
