Alright, this is a thread to clear up everything and to stop most idiots to fall into a trap of bricking their Xbox 360 due to false reports. So any questions you might have will most likely be posted in here.


Why aren't Fbbuild releasing 12625 rebooter?

I have said this before but i'll go into detail Fbbuild won't be releasing because there isn't any features that have been added to this (12625 Kernel) update. People haven't realized that FreeBOOT releases to the public for development not for people to go online as FreeBOOT/Fbbuild doesn't support the use of using their Rebooter to cheat at online gaming for profiteering. The only difference between 12625 and 12611 is the boot game from start-up and the AP2.5 checks each update has new features not just small pointless features.

• 9199: Usb Capability.
  
• 12611: Kinect Support (Tons of Features)
  
• 12625: Boot game from start-up (Not going to happen)
  

I've was talking to Unknown a while back and he said no release for 12625 but there should be an updated rebooter for the next system update (Rumors for it to be released sometime this spring).

Why is no one releasing the Method?

Simple because most of the people are making thousands of dollars off this just for hosting lobbies because there are only a very selective few that can do it and no one is going to release something that'll lose them money and ruin the Xbox LIVE community and make a ton of people very angry other than the 12 year olds.

Do you need a new Rebooter to remove the checks?

Not necessarily, no but at the same time yeah because how are you going to connect to LIVE with 12611 without it asking you for an update. Also if the checks are this so called "Xosc" (OnlineSystemChallenge) then yes you'll need a rebooter to remove the checks because Xosc is downloaded on sign-in.

The following is just information I've made for you guys

People think it must be some tough job to update from 12611 and 12625 saying there hasn't been very many changes to the Hypervisor or Kernel. The patches for Fbbuild were also ported from iKari's release of single NAND 9199 rebooter so if the patches were just ported wouldn't that make it even easier to port from 12611 to 12625 saying most changes have been done in the Xam not the HV/Kernel but there has been some changes so there has been some changes to the addresses/offsets of the patches but nothing that we need to modify has been changed. You'll also need to update the NANDs bootloader sections and filesystem including the "sysupdate.xexp1" for the 64k rebooter slot.

ADIZZYSN1PER soon to be called Dizzy has released a labeler for the 12625 Kernel/HV which label nearly everything in there making this a much easier job for everyone. The labeler was created by Bluebars and could have been found by some google searching and the Kernel research was done by Unknown_v2 which was stolen.

Alot of people who are going to give stupid questions shouldn't even be going out there to try this without doing there research so I don't have to use "Lmgtfy" it's just people today expect everything to be done for them rather than going out there and doing it themselves people who google "12625 Rebooter" need a slap because you're not going to fine anything just do research on everything old.

So there isn't much as you guys think there is to update to 12625:

• Porting 12611 Fbbuild patches
  
• Updating bootloader sections
  
• Updating Filesystem
  

Porting the patches is easy if you understand how it's built and the structure of it and how it's used there also has been some branch changes in the 12625 also.
