Many people do not believe in the Mayan's predictions anymore, because it has been proven to be off from our current calender, BUT this calender is consistent with the signs of the Zodiac on what events will take place.

This is a book from Asia that helps predict the future and tell prophecies. The book foretells events by giving answers to questions by using coins. (this may seem VERY unbelievable, but the results are consistent with ALL of written history and science) There are 64 possible keys to give an answer. You obtain the answer by flipping three coins and drawing either 2 lines or a solid line, and the majority of either heads or tails determines what kind of line you draw. You do this 6 times to make a symbol for the I Ching to answer. This is where the math takes place to correspond to science somehow. The book has predicted EVERY catastrophic event in written history. (I find this quite awkward)

This also includes the Mayans/Hopi/Egyptians/Bible/etc. because all of these ancient civilizations and beliefs have foretold what will happen in the future. The Zodiac runs off of 12 signs. We are currently on the edge of the 5th. The Zodiac signs are what all of the ancient calenders were build upon. Notice the striking accuracy of these calenders. Every 26,000 years is the passing of the 12 Zodiac signs. The Bible predicts that there is an Apocalypse coming in the near future. (Atheists may contradict this, but it ties in with science and historical events.) At the end of a Zodiac sign is the destruction of the old and beginning of the new world. Each ancient civilization that predicts this says that there are 4 elements: Earth, Fire, Water, and Air. The end of the Zodiac sign we are in now is the start of a "new element". Each era is suppose to be ended/destroyed by the element of the era. The era we are currently in is the Age of the 5th Sun. This cycle: 3113BC - 2012AD (December 21, 2012) [Explain that... O.o] The Maya state that we have been through the ages of fire, earth, air, and water. The final era is "ether"(or something spelled like that). This marks the 4th world of destruction and the beginning of the 5th world of peace. The era is marked by humanity's loss of being connected/bonded with nature, and focusing primarily on technology and material wealth (cars, video games , paper money, etc.)

A scientist graphed the frequency of answers and the prophesies or hexagrams of the I Ching on a line graph and found an odd pattern. He matched up the line graph with all of the history since it had started to be recorded. EVERY time the graph of the I Ching fell, it lines up with a catastrophic event that happened. Albert Einstein founded the theory of polar switching. This means that the earth's poles (north and south) switch 180 degrees - the north pole sits where the south pole used to. This has happened many times before. To be exact, every 26,000 years. Coincidence? I think not. This is because our solar system is traveling through our galaxy. It moves in a wave form. Because of this wave form, our solar system passes through the center/densest point of our galaxy. The gravitational pull increases on our solar system as we reach the center of this "cloud" of our galaxy. The gravity has an odd effect on everything in our solar system. It causes the planets and the sun to become HIGHLY unstable. The gravity effect is happening right now. It started in 2008 and ends in 2015. The center point where we will be passing through is EXACTLY on December 21, 2012. This say is also The Winter Solstice, or the shortest day of the year. (Coincidences/science/math scares the :idea: out of me!) Every time Earth passes through the equator, if you will, of our galaxy, the gravity causes our poles to shift. This also causes the actual North and South magnetic poles to shift slightly to the side of our planet. Thus :idea: up everything we know about our planet. If you look at some of the rock in mountains, you can analize the magnetism of the layers, and see that every 26,000 years (carbon dating the rock), the rock changes polarity the closest to the surface (measuring bottom to top) or deeper (measuring top to bottom) you go. This is also why you may find evidence of some rock only made in the southern hemisphere, in the northern hemisphere encased in a layer of deep rock over 26,000 years old. The shift in poles will cause extensive earthquakes and mass extinction of species. This will truly be devastating, but not everything will die. People will definitely live. Scientist are not sure if the poles will truly shift, but what happens, happens... right? This is also why the weather has been worsening lately. The gravity is causing our planet to become unstable, and it is causing abnormally large hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanoes to erupt, tornadoes, and so on. You have probably heard about the solar flare of 2012, and this WILL happen because of the gravity and magnetic field changes. NASA has confirmed this. The solar flare won't actually harm you, but it will cause an EMP like effect. All satalites will be destroyed (backups would be in place within a few days - no xbox or PSN for a few days) and power on earth would go out for a day or more (sorry grandpa with a pacemaker ) This weather will only worsen until 2012. Then it will reverse itself slowly and then go back to normal sometime around 2015. IF in fact the poles do shift, BEST case scenario, it happens over a few months or years, with minimal damage, but still MANY earthquakes on every continent. Or WORST case scenario, it happens within a few hours or days, which basically translates into, we are all :idea: . If it does happen, and does happen within a matter of hours or days, there will be massive earthquakes and tsunamis. This may seem unlikely, but the strong change in gravity from moving to the opposite face of the galaxy can most definitely make this an occurrence. We obviously have no idea if in fact this WILL happen, but science has proven that it has. We also don't know how long it took for the poles to shift. Who knows, we may all turn out to be fine? I don't want to scare anyone, but this IS what 2012 is about.
