OK my questions are if i have a Phillips drive i think thats my drive can i buy and flash a BenQ and put it in my Xbox? Next question if i can what drive is the most reliable. And are new drives more reliable than the ones Microsoft has been putting in my Xbox?

well... if u buy a flashed drive there is no point to that...in order to use it you would have to flash your current dvdkey into it pretty much defeating the purpose of buying a flashed drive in the first place....so if u want a flashed drive i recomment doing it yourself or hiring someone to do it for you

i have a lite-on drive and it has the open tray problem and that is common with lite-on drives

Ok i think we totally missed the question here lol. What i want to know is since my xbox is a phillips lite on drive can i buy say a benq and flash it to my xbox or do i have to buy another Phillips lite on drive.

Next question is if i can get a different drive brand what is my best choice of a drive? like which one is the most reliable drive i can buy. that way i don't have to worry about doing this again!! Thanks!

You can buy a BenQ but you would have to extract the DvD key off your Lite-On Drive and Flash the key to the BenQ drive with the Modded FW.

ok another question i dont want to be able to play burnt games i dont wanna get banned for having modded firmware on my dvd drive can i just put regular firmware on it?
