There have been a lot of rumors about getting banned with the map packs so i will clear some things up.

(update) Post here if you have been banned and please include the country you are from

Other country rumor

Ok there have been many rumors going around that the only people who can get banned are people from other countries.
This is not true you are much more likely to get banned if you are from another country(not us or england) because you download an english version which throws up the red flag


America isnt immune
Ok the rumor that if you download the maps and you live in the US is not true. Treyarch can see if you downloaded the maps through them on the profile you are playing on and the system will ban you if not.


Location Issue
Ok guys there have now been confirmed reports of some locations including places in the Us receiving errors when they try to download the maps saying location not available or something similar. Microsoft and Treyarch are aware of the problem and working hard to fix it so i would still recommend not downloading the maps as you will get banned


Consequences
Treyarch and Microsoft are not taking these things lightly you will be banned not for 48 hours but permabanned from live.

How to Unban Yourself
Well if you didnt listen and you got banned i Guess You Need To Get Unbanned So Heres How Your Going to do it First, open Google chrome. Second, Once on Google.com on Google chrome, go to Xbox.com/support. once at the support page, scroll over left then click sign in. Once signed in, at the top right of the support page click Xbox.com. Once at home page your profile should load then, change your Bio to something bad like I Host All Day F U C K Xbox That usualy Works. Then send a message to all friends saying file a complaint against bio, then Microsoft should change the ban to 2-4 days. You will Get An Email Which Confirms Your Ban has Been Changed ! So heres the deal guys i would highly recommend you not do this because you will more than likely be banned. TTG is not responsible if you do get banned

I bet a lot of you are thinking screw it i hate blackops anyway so what if they ban me from it i will just go back to mw2. Heres the deal they dont just ban you from blackops they ban you from all of live!!!!

i think its retarded how people have been doing this with arcade games dlc and full games and now you think they started to care c'mon guys use your brain by the wy been playing all day havent been banned

you are one of the lucky ones if you dont mind me asking who did you get the maps from because it might just be that they know a popular gt that someone on here is doing it with so they ban anyone who uses that gt
