When the 360 was the current console i always wished i had a JTAG but i could never afford one since they cost around £400- £500 at that time but now they are affordable for me to buy one but unsure if its still worth the money. I know that now you don't make money off them like you used to be able to do but just enough for kv and save until i could buy stealth like Ninja as at the moment i only have enough to buy the console. Just wanting opinions as im on the fence if to spend my summer money on one or not. Thanks.

It depends on what your planning on doing with it. Like you already said yourself, your not going to make money off of it. If you just wanne get it for hosting lobbies and messing around with friends its still worth the money.

If your looking to play and just enjoy using the mods and you will play it often then it would be a good purchase. If your looking to make a lot of money, then expect to pay for an advertising spot like here on TTG with a COD or GTA sticky.

id say get one however it does get dull and you will get hit off lots if you dot ahve a vpn

like others are saying it would depend on what your use for it would be. I would say making money from it would kind of a challenge because there are already a lot of established sellers/modders. But if you plan on playing with your friends and trolling and messing about it would be worth it

I bought mine with the intention of making some money on the side. Then I realized that I'd need to turn it into a full-blown "business" to be able to maintain an RGH (stealth server costs, KVs, etcetera) and I already had responsibilities that I needed to cover with the paycheck I get every two weeks so the RGH just laid dormant for weeks on end until I decided to sell it.
If you want to make money off of an RGH, you've got to create a mindset that you're going to be running a "business" and you've got loads of competition (at least in the CoD Forums) and you're going to have to maintain an RGH up-to-date if you want to run said business efficiently.
If you're just going to mess around with friends and host lobbies for people, go for it. You've still gotta keep it with a fresh KV and stealth server but it'll be money well spent since you're just using it for fun every now and then.

Yes and No. I only bought my Trinity a little over a month ago and I've made around £100/£150. However I paid £200 for the console + I've spent around £60/£80 on NiNJA and around £10/£20 on KVs so if your buying it to make money then you need to have a long think about it before buying as the markets really competitive now as so many people have RGH's/JTAG's these days.

I only have the intention for making enough to buy kvs then save a bit for Ninja if I can but im mostly buying it because i enjoy modding and want to muck about with friends and host lobbies while im doing other things.
