Weird you say that, earlier today I signed up to the army and was considering going buzz or fully bald. I think bald is a little too much.

When you go for intake they will offer you a cut for ~£6 and that will be the acceptable cut.

If you do get a haircut before make sure its neat on the top. Usually short back and sides is fine.

The suit looks good.

The tie needs to be a little lower - The belt and tie should meet.

You look proper dapper in a suit mate. Go with a navy blue suit with brown oxfords if you want to reach maximum swagger.

Looks a little wrinkled, like the jacket was sitting in a ball for a while. Press the shirt and jacket, and find a shirt without collar buttons, and you're good to go. Also, only ever do a 2 button jacket, 3 buttons is a no-go.
