So I ordered my gaming PC components on the 19th of May, and selected a delivery date of June 2nd (today) because I was going on holiday for a week and figured that if I give them well over a weeks notice then the package would be on time,

I took an extra day off work (today) to receive the packages (since it was a big order it must be two separate packages) only to find out that my order has been pushed back to next Wednesday (june 7th) for no apparent reason.

I contacted the delivery guys (DPD) and the woman on the phone told me that one of my packages "might be with me today" and that she doesn't know where the other one is but its scheduled for next week.

Ridiculous considering the money involved and confusing because I don't understand how 2 packages heading to the same address can be separated.

Wasting a day off work today and will probably have to take one next week to receive the other one (either that or take a 1hr30min round trip to collect at local depot)

To say I'm P*ssed is an understatement

I can relate to this all day long.

It sucks especially when it is something you are really looking forward to.

So annoying. I've had it where the delivery guy has knocked at my door and before I can even make it to the door he's driven off with my package. Called them saying the guy just drove off and they was like 'you'll have to wait until tomorrow or the next day for another delivery attempt' fuk you god damn it.

Only happened twice but was annoying as heck

When I ordered my MacBook Air a couple years ago the UPS guy "misplaced" the package,

Whole investigation as to where it went think it was 2 weeks before Apple finally sent me another,

Some guys can be shady af

A bit off topic, however...

I order a lot, a whole lot. Most of the stuff I order is delivered by the god forsaken USPS. I also live in an apartment. That means my mailbox is to small for 95% of the stuff I order, and they're not allowed to leave it at my door regardles of if it requires a signature or not. They're supposed to leave a notice I take to the post office with all the information on it regarding the package so i can pick it up.

Big surprise, they don't.

So each time I go to pick up my stuff they either try to refuse to give me my stuff, accusing me of attempting to steal other peoples mail, or tell me I'm full of shit when I politely tell them no notice was left. Keel in mind I pick up a package at least once a week.

We'll see what happens today. I have a steelbook that's supposed to be delivered today by FedEx, who oddly enough is allowed to leave items at my front door. Of course with my luck, I'm fully anticipating the truck breaking down, catching on fire, or my shit just getting stolen right off my pourch.

Update: I didn't get it. Apparently my apartment complex was closed. GG FedEx.
