... and it's over. A bit of a delay posting but the Pittsburgh Penguins are the 2017 NHL Stanley Cup Champions. Not surprising to say the least. Hopefully this isn't like the NBA v2 with Pittsburgh in the final again next year.

Pittsburgh probably will be in the final next year, I'd expect Edmonton to be the other finalist too.

As a Canucks fan, as much as i dislike Oilers, i'm so tired of the Cup going to Chicago and Pittsburgh so i'm hoping it goes to a team like Oilers, though preferably Nashville if I had to choose.

It'll no doubt be another long, disappointing season for us Canucks though, part of me hopes we finish dead last and get the 1st Overall but the lottery seemingly doesn't like us after shafting us from 2nd to 5th this year.

Isn't it funny that 3 of the top 15 highest market teams get 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Nah.

Nashville won't make another cup for a long time, Rinne, Fisher, etc getting old and the players they are losing from the expansion draft will hurt them.

It's typical for it to happen

Avs were pretty much certainties to get 1st Overall and take Patrick, then they get shafted!

It doesn't bother me too much that Devils got 1st as they're kinda one of those mid-bottom end teams who need that boost, whereas should Avs or us Canucks have gotten it, it would've been awesome for sure but he'd only have been one part of what will likely be a lengthy rebuild for both clubs.

Canucks have got to find suitable 1st Line replacements for the Sedin's soon.

Yeah, sooner rather than later. I wouldn't doubt if they took Vilardi though but there isn't much top wingers in this draft

I'd be very happy if we get Vilardi. TSN seem to think he's likely to get Drafted 5th Overall, so by the Canucks but if he doesn't then the likes of Casey Mittelstadt, Cody Glass, Owen Tippett wouldn't be too bad.

Canucks are likely to suck for a few more years yet so I hope a Generational Prospect pops up in a Draft in the next 2 or 3 years. There's some decent potential in the 2019 Draft.

imo I think Cody Glass is overrated. I saw him in the playoffs and didn't see anything special about him.

2018 Draft is stacked alone just from Dahlen/Svechnikov. 2019 is just flat out amazing.
