Just browsing the web and starting games isn't going to show you load temperatures. Keep an eye on CPU/GPU usage and temps. We need to know temps under load. You could be thermal throttling which could tank your clock speeds and cause worse performance.

dont think it is this is the case temps look fine after like 20 min of battlefield, tbf the fps isnt as bad on battlefield but i used to get 70+ constant on this game medium settings, even played one of the old splintercell games to make sure it wasnt only steam games being effected, but got no more than 65 fps where it would have d=been like 400+ with this rig

another thing i noticed is my cpu usage seems high, when im playing a game it is at a contsant 97%+ i dont know if this is normal, when in task manager it says there isnt much running that uses cpu but it will still be at like 60% usgae

here is a graph of results from afterburner [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

also my gpu is set to maximum performance

CPU temperature of 199c is not normal, so what's up with that.

Lmao i thought that at first but thats fps, not tempreture, my fps is fine when there isnt much graphics to load e.g. Loadingg screens and on the main menu thats why its up at 200

The headings are for the graph underneath them
So cpu tempreture is 26 dc

Also how do i crank up my gpu usage? I think thats what it is even thought its set to max preformance its not using more than like 30% ever of the gpu

I'm so positive it's a temp issue with the CPU. If it was me, I'd reapply thermal paste and re-install the cooler.

Did that now, all temps are still fine. No improvement read somewhere it could be a mobo issue and may need replaced but dunno how to test this

did a gpu stress test looks good to me, which gives me the idea that my gpu is not preforming in game as it always sits around 14%. In this benchmark it was at 100% and all worked fine got an ok score for the device as seen in the results.

what could have caused my gpu usage to get so low and how do i change it?
