Since i lost all my trust on my now broken turtle beach XO sevens i plan to buy some astros. According to most websites these are ranked best gaming headset but i dont take there word for it, so i wanted to know if any of you on the forums can tell me if theyre worth the price or if they even last.

I play cod,bf, gow and halo

Have to agree with Rick, have my a40's for over two year now and never had any problems. Definitely worth the money if you play games a lot.

I had a40's but I upgraded to the 50's because they are wireless and I love both headsets. I would never go back to a turtle beach. Hands down the best headset I have used

I'm being completely honest I don't even own a mixamp I just use the little adapter for the mic. Honestly I would just read some reviews but I have never had trouble with mine.

I had a pair the right earphone broke off and the mic stopped working. I wasnt careful with them though i threw them around and had them for about 2 years. Just got another pair of A40s for Christmas without the mixamp because i already have one.
