Over the past two years I've just been watching anime, never even considered manga. However, just recently I've noticed that the anime I've seen aren't even over, they are discontinued or just don't have another season and you're needing to read the manga to finish the show. Does manga have the same emotional feel as anime? I've read books and have felt it but can't imagine the same feeling with manga.

I'd say reading the manga is also pretty fun, because sometimes the anime doesn't follow the manga story and develops an original ending etc

So yeah it would be worth to check out the manga

Read the manga. I honestly never wanted to myself until I got fed up with Bleach not airing any more (seriously it was Bleach that got me to read manga). Anyways since then I've only read Attack on Titan, Deadmand Wonderland, Akame ga Kill, and To Love Ru (though I haven't caught up on this one).

Reading the manga imo is much better at times than watching the anime adaption that may sway from the canon and make its own ending ie: AgK. Seriously read that one. It's one hell of a read.

Yeah, Ive only read one manga online out of frustration that an anime stopped airing on a friggin cliffhanger... You gotta learn how to read them too haha, but I'll just stick to anime.

only thing that changes between reading them is if its manga or manhwa which is Korean manga. They are also read opposite ways like left to right is manga and right to left is Korean
