I personally wouldn't date a smoker as hypocritical as it is. I used to smoke cigars at work all the time. But I went and bought a vape and I haven't touched a cigar in almost a year.

I'm forced to right now but I really hate it. Never again.

I myself couldn't date someone who smoked. It's a bad habit and I just don't want to be part of that.

Anyone who says they wouldn't date someone or be friends with someone simply because they smoke is a moron. It's that simple. Don't like smoking? That's fine, don't smoke then, ez. Also, using the bs excuse "but uhhh smoking ills tho", yeah, so does everything. Tell me one thing that's not addictive and harmful? Caffeine, alcohol, sugar, etc, the shit everyone deals with on a daily basis is just as bad for you. Would you not date someone that drinks coffee because slowly killing yourself is so unattractive?

Probably a good thing you've not got a girlfriend if you just want to be with someone who's in peak physical condition and who's health isn't going to deteriorate.

I personally wouldn't care if someone smoked, so long as they don't let it control their life. My fiance didn't care that I smoked, she only asked me to please stop smoking as much as I did, as she always worries about my health. In the end, I decided to quit smoking in general as I know in the long run, I would have health problems from it and I don't need to be giving her that extra stress and worry, plus she supported me while I smoked, so I didn't feel forced or that she wouldn't accept me if I was a smoker; which honestly made everything a lot easier for me. I think I honestly kicked the addiction within a few weeks, however I was only smoking for about 2 years at the time.
