I last built my PC a couple years ago and I'm looking to upgrade it.
Current Build: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
I have around $600 and was wondering what i could get for upgrades. Going to keep the ram, storage, case, power supply. Would also keep motherboard if it is still good with the upgrades. I don't want SLI and I would like a good amount of VRAM because I'm going to be playing a lot of modded Skyrim etc.

That Motherboard will be ok as your not upgrading anything that would need a upgraded motherboard mate. And the CPU OC is still alright imo.

Kind regards

The GTX 1070 isn't better than the 980Ti. It depends on the situation. The 980Ti has more CUDA cores, and will perform better in editing/rendering tasks. The GTX 1070 is newer and performs about the same in games as a 980Ti, so the 1070 is a wiser choice than the 980Ti, for the most part. The GTX 1080 is not worth the premium over the 1070.

Storage: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($74.89 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($393.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($93.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Total: $562.87

Your PSU is low quality, so you can get that replaced right now. GTX 1070 would be a nice GPU upgrade and you can sell those 760s to make some money back. Another SSD because it never hurts. You could spend an extra $50 or so for a 500GB Samsung 750 EVO, instead of the 250GB.

Oh ok my bad didnt know that, all i knew is that the 980ti was favoured for something but at the time i didnt recollect it having more cuda cores. OP what are you using this computer for? All i can see in your post is that you like to play games (skyrim) so therefor the 1070 will still be the better one for you to get.

Kind regards
