In need of a laptop for school, I'm going to school for computer programming (2 year school, then off to a 4 year) I also do YouTube as a hobby, so if I can get a laptop that is good for programming, photoshop and Sony vegas that will be great. I'm looking for some specifics
1TB or bigger HDD
16Gb or more RAM
Decent GPU
i7 CPU
Budget is roughly $1000 or more. Nothing over $2000 and NO MACBOOKS (unless someone can sell me on one for any reason)
I found this at bestbuy and it's the closest to what someone recommended a few months back (some things came up and I needed to spend money else where)

Thanks, but I want an i7 processor and at least 1TB of HDD space that does offer both for a really nice extra charge. Thank you though, also looks really big and bulky

I can get the first laptop ( with student ID for $899.99) I'm just confused at the differences other than DDR4 and DDR3 RAM

The difference between those two is that laptop 2 has a touchscreen display.
OP you also want to bare in mind that both of these laptops are 17.3'' and not the standard 15.6'' so it's going to be larger and slightly heavier.
