GPU Temperature while gaming GTX 660 - Plan to upgrade to 1070
80c

CPU Temperature while gaming Intel Core i5 4670k (Haswell)
58c That was on the 3rd core if that helps.

So is there normal temperatures or should i start to worry.
Plus i'm running a Heat sink cooler nothing fancy.

EDIT: Here's my fan curve if you need it.

58c on the 4670k is fine, but gaming won't usually have that CPU under full load. Temps at full load is what's important. 80c for a GPU under load is fine. Nothing really to worry about. If your CPU or GPU gets too hot, the system will power itself off anyway to avoid damage.

My GPU just dropped a 98c i'm running MSI Afterburner for checking the temps then Ungine Heaven Benchmark for testing.

98c isn't safe. If it's overclocked, pull it back a little. Maybe clean the cooler of the GPU if it's old and dusty. If it's not overclocked and it's on it's last legs, you may have to underclock it to get a little more life out of it. The GTX 660 is only a 4 year old card though, and it's not a high end GPU so you shouldn't have too much issues with temps.

That's what my current MSI looks like.

And no it's not overclocked.

Since I'm getting these really bad Temps should I just go ahead and buy the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX case with a h100i and a new PSU? I worry if I buy a 1070 with a Heatsink it would end horrible.

Replacing your case, PSU , and CPU cooler won't do much for GPU temperatures hahahah. 37c is perfectly fine. 80-85c under load is fine. If it starts hitting the 90c range consistently whilst under load, that would be worrying IMO. As I said, underclock the 660 a little if temps are really an issue.

Ok but is it possible on the day I go ahead and install the 1070 and end up getting the same results that I got with the 660? I really don't feel like paying so much on a card just to have super high temps all the time if you know what I mean.

Different card completely so, no. If airflow in your case is bad, then that will increase temperatures, so depending on your case, you could upgrade. That doesn't mean you need to spend as much as an Enthoo EVOLV ATX costs though. Your CPU temps are fine though, so if airflow was the issue, CPU temps and GPU temps would be iffy. Upgrading your CPU cooler and PSU will make next to no difference in GPU temperatures. That doesn't mean you shouldn't upgrade those, you could if you wanted/needed, but it won't affect GPU temps.

Would you recommend a H440? Those cases are pretty nice plus they aren't bank breaking expensive.
