Lately I have been getting myself back into CSGO. Lets start from the beginning..
So around 2 months ago, I was Nova 3. A decent rank, with good lobbies, and I was progressing nicely.
I then started working, and to be fair, it took a lot of time up and I lost all of my interest in CSGO. So, I decided 2 weeks ago, screw it, ill start getting into it again as the job was only a temporary thing and has ended now.
So the inner Call of Duty trickshotter from 2011 came out in me and I have simply been bashing the life out of CSGO.
I played my game and went about 32-7. I got hit with Silver II. As you can imagine, a little annoyed but I thought with my skill level, it shouldn't take long to get back to where I was and start progressing towards even higher ranks than N3.
Little did I know, Silvers... Are by far... THE HARDEST... People to solo queue with, it is one of the most disgusting things that you will ever do! I get that I was a Nova 3, so technically I should be able to carry most games, which I have been doing, but its a bit much to ask one person to run a team of 2, 9 year old, 3 people with no mic, 1 guy playing music, the AFK guy, and still not die themselves.
Which now brings me on to TTG. This forum is one of the most unresponsive dead forums I have saw, and its crappy because there are a lot of us who solo queue because we don't really have "E-Friends" anymore because we are getting to old. Although I would like to, I struggle to find anyone online that you can get along with like you would in real life, but anyways... We should really all come together as a community and promote TTG through CSGO trying to get more players to visit the forum, therefore, giving us more people to play with, become friends with, or even just to help others out!

The main reason on why people don't go on here, well at least for me, is that people keep spamming either youtube videos of "InSaNe 1v4 clutch" or "AWP ACE". Which I understand is the point of the forum but isn't appealing to me so I tend to stay away from it. Now as for the people to queue with, again the people on here are low ranks (from my experience) and that's why I decide not to queue with a lot of people on here. Most don't know callouts, smokes, or even general game sense and that' what the deal breaker for me is on this forum.

Liability pretty much hit the head of the nail. When the CSGO forum was added, I was browsing it quite frequently as it was people asking about help for CSGO (sometimes regarding hardware,) people asking about skins and their value, places to discuses pro games going on and talking with people about the games and people showing nade spots, boosting spots, ect. Now, I will hardly go in here, let alone reply to something unless it catches my eye as it's just YouTube spam. Yeah there are topics that aren't "1v (insert number) clutch," "best of" or "USP 4k headshot!" but they get filtered out so quickly because of the YouTube spam that I hardly bother anymore.
Honestly the CSGO forum at this point seems like a YouTube 2.0 forum lol

I see it as YouTube 2.0 as well myself.
Also, I understand the low ranks thing, but look at me, I'm Silver IV because of lost rank, but I know a lot about the game and id like to say I am a very good player.
If we could just get out into CSGO servers, and promote it through that, yes it may take time, but you could actually end up saving this forum and have all different ranks, which helps everyone out.
I get that no ones going to do it, was just ranting really. Would be fun to get some people to actually queue with tho, and this is been the only site like this I have ever used so thought I would bring it up.

I just went through and cleaned up the forum. Hopefully that makes it seem less like a section where people try and get views for their Youtube channel!

Thanks Mark!! Just want the CSGO forum to be a place that's actually enjoyable for players to come and it actually is helpful!!
Going to spend a lot more of my time here also to try and clean up and help give this forum another kick start!

You've said all of this but I bet you haven't tried league yet. It's literally everything bad about CS:GO x10.
From my experience though CS isn't really that bad, although when you get near GE everyone just flames you after such a simple mistake and ESEA is just terrible when it comes to the players (and their mentality)
