Another user with SLI 970s in the H440 case.

Edit 2: max GPU temps so far 74 during benchmark, 70 during gaming
One card is running about 5-10 degrees hotter. They are both happily chewing through everything I throw at em.

SLI 980s in the same case

At full load, GPU1 is 81-83c (~2700rpm) and GPU2 always runs at most 68c (~900rpm). And this is running it at stock speeds of 1379mhz w/ boost clock. If I leave the default 80c target temp, I can basically only run my games at the default clock of 1266mhz as if I have a reference card. I've tried swapping out the cards to see if one was defective but it is always the top card. I can completely open up the entire case (side/top/front panel removed, unfiltered) and it will still run 81c+. If I run the 980's fan at 4400 rpms, it will keep the card around 79-80c, but damn they are super loud at the point. And I'm running the intakes at full speed during these tests. I was hoping to overclock but if I change the clock offset by even 20mhz, I get weird red flashes in Firestrike Extreme.
