Recon wrote Battlefield 4 was the first game released on the Frostbite 3 engine which was the case DICE themselves didnt know what they were doing the first few months for that game, which is the reason it was so buggy. With all the games using the same exact engine afterwards such as Mirror's Edge Catalyst, Need for Speed, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, and Star Wars: Battlefront. I personally bet you Battlefield 1 will not have as much problems as they did with Battlefield 4.

The content of this game, the war they used, the weaponry choice you have, and debating how the game runs in the beginning from their mistakes on previous games, I have a feeling this game will be amazing.

Vancouver_Canucks wrote Looks very good so far and this is only Alpha. One thing i can't help but keep a keen eye on is the amount of bullets people take before they die, sometimes it seems like just a couple, others, quite a lot. I hope they make it easier to kill people due to the lack of good protection back then making it usually, no more than a 4 shot kill.

Battlefield 4 and even Hardline feels the same way on Normal, they might change the damage a tiny bit, but if theyre adding a Hardcore type of mode, i bet you they wont change it much. Which crossing fingers they have the same adjustments with Hardcore like they did in Battlefield 4 or even have a hardcore mode in general or else i may have to riot.

-400 hrs in BF4 hardcore only

I completely agree! BF4 was quite buggy during launch. I remember in the beta me and some friends found a way to glitch under the ground and shoot everyone from under the map lol. With all these games now using the same engine I really cannot wait for this game. SOOO EXCITED! And yet I'm not because it will be cold and the snow will be around the corner haha.

Watched IGN play it live last night and it still shocks me at how awesome the game looks in its Alpha phase. Whilst watching though, i did notice that snipers are a 2 hit kill unless it's a headshot -_-

Besides that, the dynamic weather really played a big part in the video with the player being surrounded by thick fog/smoke and being taken out by a sniper several times, which would be quite annoying but it was fun to watch
