I noticed for a while now that kids and teens aren't really accepted in the gaming community, like all of the events are 18+ and age restricted videos when they know kids play their game and still decide to age restrict any gaming video. Anyway what I mean by not accepted is when a kid talks on their mic while playing a game everybody in the lobby say why are they play cod when you should be playing Lego dimensions.

Or why when a kid say they are 12 and everybody send the kid death threats. I'm 15 and when somebody say kids shouldn't be play cod or how when people say how they hate kids that play videos games I'm like WTF. I feel discriminated like really I feel offended I know some kids are annoying but not all, it like if one kid is annoying then all kids are annoying anyway what is your opinion on this.

The games are rated 18, if you can't put up with the adults that the game's were made for then stop playing them.

Well 17+ to be fair, And this actually bothers me quite a bit, Even know I'm 19 as a gamer I played online with a mic "Big Mistake" and same happened to me. I was not annoying nor did I try to be. It sickens me to see the gaming community be so rude when they could be helping instead.

I'm offended. Opressed. TRIGGERED. Lol. Joking.

Of course, people that spent their money on an ADULT game don't want kids on it. I could care less, my self. As long as the kid I'm playing with doesn't scream in their mic and cause drama. I play with a friendly PC community on Teamspeak, and there are plenty of people ranging from 10-60+. Whether it's Minecraft of something more hardcore, I've actually found it can be fun playing with kids if their mature enough.

The age restrictions on games are just guidelines set by PEGI etc. They have no other purpose but to alert parents of the games content and who it's most suited to.

I personally don't mind playing with the younger ones, it's quite funny. It becomes a problem when they're calling you a cheater, trash talking people in chat and generally being a nuisance. But kids will be kids, right?

I'm 19 and get along just fine with all the gamers! If you don't start screaming and been a total weirdo you should be alright online.

I remember playing a 18+ game when I was not even 18, those were the fun times now the community is abused by it. The community is toxic now and can't do anything about it. It'll next change now which is a shame as I remember for myself going into a party with haters and trash talkers and have a chill out session speaking to the people in the party. Fun times!

it's not about your age, sorry to tell you but regardless so many talk shit talk online, and find any reason too, therefore your age is an easy way to try make fun of you. The best thing you can do is block, laugh at them or shit talk back.

Either way to get to bothered about it, just try that to be that annoying kid screaming in the lobby

Games like cod are 17+. It is kinda a dick move to say what games a person should be or should not be playing. I understand the hate though. Honestly, if you're a younger kid your voice is just annoying over the mic lol. Past that, the clans want people around their age that they can relate to. And past that, it's either they don't like you because you suck or you're better than them.
