the second movie is leaps and bounds ahead of the first one. It was really such a well done movie and John Goodman at his best. His acting and character were so brilliant. Such a refreshing take on the whole monster genre.

The only real big issue with the film is the ending, you just finishing watching this intense escape and then she gets out and looks into the distance and see the 1 (3? can't quite remember) ships and an action sequence starts. Should have ended as soon as she saw the ship(s).

I dont agree.. If it wouldve ended with her seeing the ships.. What would the next movie bring.. No story to follow.. IMO the ending right now with it wasnt the best but at least it will give us a nice story to follow now.
