So, I will admit that since Ghosts, the Call of Duty games haven't quite been where they once were, BO3 included (with the heavy use of micro-transactions and the childish theme). However, three years ago (when Infinite Warfare was first being conceived as an idea) everyone was bashing every Call of Duty that came out for being "repetitive" and "the same exact game", with that LITERALLY being the extent to the criticism. Nobody gave any ideas or suggestions to what the studios could do to make the game more enjoyable to you, so we left them to come up with solutions on their own, which led all three studios into the future. Now, obviously by now it's too late to change the setting of the game this close to release, however the community's response to Infinite Warfare is absurd. I dislike the setting of the game as much as the next guy, I am literally the biggest Modern Warfare series fan there is, but to completely say that Infinite Warfare is a horrible game with literally no gameplay having been shown is pretty retarded. Nobody liked the idea of BO2 when it was announced, yet it turned out to be a pretty good game (not the best in my opinion, but good nonetheless). So, if you want to hate on the franchise's continued use of the future as a setting, fine. But to abandon the series, or say you won't buy the game at this point is just childish. After we've seen actual gameplay footage, or you've tried the game yourself, THAT'S the point at which someone should decide if the game is for them, especially considering the only aspect of COD most people play anyway (multiplayer) hasn't been showcased yet. But Call of Duty's fanbase is incapable of properly critiquing a game, and it's pretty disheartening. COD's a good series, for the most part, and I'd like to see them thrive and get back on the right track. So, instead of bashing COD and jumping on the "BF is the new COD-killer" when Battlefield has always been a great game anyway, just because you don't like future games anymore, try waiting and actually giving the people who've poured three years of their life into a game trying to entertain you the chance that they deserve.

Just my thoughts. I'm personally going to wait until I see more to decide if I will dislike this game or not. I'll be buying it regardless for COD4 Remastered anyway, so if the game is good, then it's a good bonus. If not, then oh well, it's worth COD4.

The people that say they won't buy the game always end up buying it.

Call of Duty is a great game and I have a pleasure of playing it every year.

If it was boots on the ground every single year, there wouldn't be so much hate.

Just a thought. Did anyone have to tell them that cod3 was a bad game and how to innovate to make cod4? Yet cod4 was revolutionary to the fps genre. We don't get paid to figure out what would work with cod, that's the developers job. We want the kind of innovation that went into cod4 and then again into mw2. MW2 was a complete overhaul and added a ton of stuff. Did we have to say yo infinity ward this is what you need to do when you make mw2? No, they did that all on their own and followed up mw with another great game in mw2. The main thing that people were complaining about in ghosts was that it was a carbon copy of the mw series. That doesn't mean change everything. Come up with a new way to play like they did from mw to mw2. And even they did it from mw2 to mw3. The problem is that the lead people that created the great games are now gone. COD has been nothing since Robert Bowling left. That's just the facts and yes I think the Black Ops series completely sucks. The only Treyarch game that I did like was World at War because it was a mw copy but set in ww2. So, again hire the right people and we would have great games, PERIOD!!!

Even know I've talked Negative about the game, I did the same with Call of Duty: Ghosts, Advanced Warfare although I still bought and played the games, They was not as bad as I thought they would be.
