Hi, I bought a phone from gumtree and its factory reset, but when I try to use my sim it says SIM card invalid, how do I find out what network is on? Thanks

Try going to settings > general > about and scroll down to 'Carrier'.
This should show what the last network the iPhone used, was bought with, and wants to join.
