I'm going to university soon so I need a new laptop, being a console gamer I can't bring my Xbox with my really. Any ideas of any decent laptops for around £1300 I've had a look around but there are so many options.

Thanks

A site I personally have had some great experiences with is Xotic PC. They have great custom laptops that will fit exactly what you are looking for and have multiple models. You can essentially find the perfect laptop for your budget. If you don't want to go through all the models they have, I can try and give you some suggestions once I get home from work.

I recommend staying away from Razer and Alienware, they are notoriously shitty and have a record of breaking down quickly. Go with something from Asus or MSI. Check iBuyPower, they are a big distributor of MSI/ASUS gaming laptops. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] also check out Newegg and some other sites to check prices if you find a laptop you want.

I've had a MSI and they are in my opinion the worst laptops I have ever had. My Alienware maintains its speed no matter how many processes I run at the same time where my MSI would slow down dramatically and Is very noticeable. Never had an asus so I can't comment on that

Yes but that still doesn't defeat the fact that Alienware is horrendously overpriced and Dell support is literally such a pain in the neck compared to the competition.

Overpriced yes I can agree with that and I have never had to have assistance from dell due to I have never had a problem. Just go for whatever you see fit your needs id say
