More often than not, maturity is valued over skill.
I appreciate it, but veteran is the only word I could use to describe it, I don't know what you want me to say besides that but ok, and that is not true at all. Look at all the big clans, you see people in FaZe being mature? Of course not. I don't know what clans you watch but your one of the exact people I talk about who criticize me for my age. SMH, go hate somewhere else.

A better word may have been skilled, above average, experienced, proficient, accomplished, talented, gifted, adept, competent, etc. I could go on all day, veteran implies that you have a lot of experience. Beings that you're 12, you haven't been playing for a while, and you have school so you're not playing a whole lot.

As far as maturity goes, It's a growing up thing. 12 year old immaturity is a lot different that upper teen / 20's immaturity. What might be hilarious to you makes older folk think you're an idiot. It's just a different type of immaturity. 12 year olds are generally the kids saying get caner, die in a hole, calling each other stupid head, etc. upper teens / 20's have a whole different approach, although some are for ever 12 years old in the brain.

It's just what it is, you may not like it or understand it now, but in 5 years you will understand.

Clans is a crazy thing to be apart of because back in the days, it was easy to speak to people in the Xbox 360 Party Chat and they would accept you as a person not what age you're and if you play Claw or Stretch or what your K/D is for COD. Now clan are roughly a business with partnerships these clans tend to look at your clips what you've recorded and also they look if you do GFX to be apart in the GFX Team for that certain team you're trying to join. It's hard as I imagine to join a team that you like. It's a hard world out there..

If your actually a good player than age should not matter as long as your helping out the team and trying to grow the channel. I can remember when faze first started out they had a lot of really young players and some of them were the biggest names out there. If I can remember right faze ramos was one of them young players. But honestly man if you can't join a team because of your age try to go solo, some people do way better solo anyways. But In my opinion Trickshotting is dead now though. It will never be what it once was in 2010 - 2013

Anyways good luck man and I hope you go far with your hobby.

Honestly, anyone below 13 playing cod is frowned upon nowadays. It's actually ridiculous. But like these guys said, just keep at it and you'll be accepted.

Real clans will accept you regardless of age. Just like rank doesn't preach skill, age doesn't either.
