So recently I used Xfinity, I obtained the Blast package 75up 11down. Sounds great, I know. But where I live I have to "share" it with the people in my area. Long story short I've had it for 2 weeks and was unable to actually use it via videos games. Streaming was no problem but as an avid gamer I would need to for much more.

So, this being said I switched to AT&T. My new internet speed will be 45up not sure about down. I was wondering what current users have to say about AT&T. Anything will help. They told me I will have direct access and won't go through what I did with Xfinity.

Thanks TTG community.

AT&T is the worst in my opinion at least in my area glad I switched. Will not go back to AT&T.

Is att satellite based internet? If so then any time there is bad weather, you will have no internet.
Source: had satellite internet for about a month, was awful. Will never go back.

Worst as in how? I can assure you it's not as bad as what I'm currently going through. But could you elaborate on you past situation?

No sattilite services. They offered me that but I assumed what you mentioned with bad weather and what not.

ATT is notoriously shitty, I recommend avoiding it if possible. With things like major down time, data caps, speed unreliability. It is best to avoid them all together if possible.

AT&T is the fastest Internet I have come across. I have had it for about 2 years and I play Xbox like it's going out of style. I never have anything less than a 3 or 4 Bar on any game. (Unless the host is Garbage). I reccomend it, I don't even have the max speed AT&T offers. That should tell you something

Appreciate the feed back but it's my last hope. It can't be as bad as what I'm putting up with now. If I can't do AT&T then I'd have to go with a local provider (Wide Open West) and they have worse reviews with all big providers combined.

My parents went to AT&T once and the Internet sucked ass. They were paying so much for shitty service. Now we have Verizon and my parents pay so much less for 100 up and down

I like in St. Louis Missouri so its a big HUB and I get great internet. I had a lot of problems at first with outages but that was the installers fault and we got the best internet for the price of the cheapest for 2 years along with free movie channels for 1 years. I get 38 DL and 4.5 UP
