Just wondering which car company you favorite the most and why?

Mine would have to be GM. GM's performance vehicles seem to compete above Ford and Chrysler while their luxury Cadillac line offers a more luxurious feel compared to Lincoln. The new Camaro is one beautiful SOB and the Z06 is a masterpiece.

Your choice can be any car company, not just an American Company. I chose GM because my family always owned GM, I drive a Chevy, and prefer GMs design interior and exterior.

I have always loved BMW.

German engineering where the design team actually care about what customers think and/or may like in a car.

Their attention to detail is brilliant IMO, the styling on the new cars are brilliant.

I would say Ford, here's why. I have owned two Ford trucks (still own one), my grandpa has owned countless Ford trucks, and in general all of our family drive Fords.

My brother got a Dodge product and it was a modified vehicle so I can't really say it was a bad truck (though it was a hunk of crap).

My dad just bought an '08 Escalade, and that's our only experience with a GM product. We bought it a little under 2 months ago and so far we have had 6 issues with it. We have two check engine codes on it, one is a P1175 (fuel trim cylinder balance bank 2), and the other is a C0900 (device 1 voltage high). The dealership can't figure out either of these issues. We also can't get the touch screen nav to work, we have the CD and put it in, everything works fine but the next day it's like we never did it and we don't have navigation. The dealer can't figure this out either. The satellite radio sucks too, but my brothers Mustang has horrible satellite radio as well so I can't say it's a GM issue, it's just the place we live My trusty ole '97 F-150 doesn't have that issue though lol. We just had an issue with the TPMS as well, they will read down to 2 PSI, then sky rocket saying we have 99 PSI (and everything in between causing that light and the ding to come on A LOT). It's just getting a new TPMS sensor, but I'd hope they should last longer than just 8 years. When we bought it, it had heated seats up front (and in the rear), but after a week there is no longer heated or A/C seats up front (but there is in the rear). This is an expensive fix we're not sure we want to do. And lastly, when we use the key fob or the unlock buttons on the doors, the passenger side doors rarely unlock. Pretty sad we're having all these issues with only owning the vehicle for 2 months, but it's a gamble buying a used vehicle.

We didn't drive any new Escalades because we didn't want to spend the amount a house would cost on a car lol. We drove the older models and I personally think Cadillac went backwards. The older seats where a lot comfortable. The 6.2L does sound a lot cooler than the 6.0 though lol.

I do think that in the older years Escalade 100% looked a lot better than the Navigator, but now it's not the same case, it's more on a personal preference level I guess. They seem fairly equal to me, but I think Cadillac has a firm foothold in the market whereas Lincoln is trying to find their style and niche in the market.

As far as trucks go, Ram is now owned by Fiat, so it's up to Chevy / GMC and Ford to me. I personally can not stand the square wheel wells that GM decided to do because when you lift that truck, you can't put the right size tires on the truck and it looks horrible. I do like the black and chrome GMC's though, but the new truck Chevy just introduced is horrible, it looks like they tried to go back o the '99-02 style.

In the off road market, someone in the Chevy head quarters better get fired. That is literally the ugliest truck there is on the market. I also love how they copied the Raptor's bed decal lol. Another thing I look at is the tires. The Raptor uses a good tire from the factory for what it was designed to do. They used the BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2's. What did Chevy go with? Well, they went cheap. They decided on General grabbers.... Not to mention Chevy copied Ford by going with Fox suspension instead of doing their own thing. Chevy uses a smaller tire as well, they went with a 33" tire whereas Ford went to a 35" tire. When I first seen the renderings on the Reaper, I was honestly hoping it was a joke. With that being said though, I think Ram did a hell of a job with the styling on the Rebel.

I was raised in a C1500 and it was passed down to me. General Motors is my roots. I have an appreciation for old school Volkswagens as well.

Rovers are epic. My parents just bought a 2016 Evoque. Incredible trucks they are...
