On its website, Naval Medical Center San Diego bills itself as "the largest and most comprehensive military healthcare system in the Western United States." It has eight clinics for active duty personnel and nine primary care sites for their family members.
3 GUNSHOTS WERE HEARD IN THE BASEMENT OF THE FACILITY. IT IS BEING TREATED AS AN ACTIVE SHOOTER SITUATION
THE NAVAL BASE SAYS THE CHILD CARE FACILITIES ARE SAFE
THE SHOOTER IS REPORTED TO BE IN BUILDING 2, A PEDIATRIC CENTER, BARRICADED WITH CHILDREN
MILITARY PERSONNEL ARE SWEEPING THE BUILDING
NO INJURIES/EVIDENCE OF SHOOTING

Authorities responded to reports of three gunshots fired around 8 a.m. (11 a.m. ET) Tuesday in the basement of Naval Medical Center San Diego's Building 26, medical center spokesman Mike Alvarez said.
Alvarez said the incident is being treated as if it's an active shooter situation.
"An active shooter has just been reported in building #26 at Naval Medical Center San Diego," Tuesday morning's post reads. "All occupants are advised to run, hide or fight.

Oh shit I need to get a hold of my uncle to make sure that my cousin was not there.
Last I heard from him he was at that location.
Just called my uncle and turns out hes in Norway. I only talked to him a week ago.

With all the gun laws we already have, I'd be surprised if it's even possible to come up with more. Basically can't even own a gun here.
Update: Navy says no casualties, injuries or evidence of a shooting at Naval Medical Center San Diego.
