Before I start this rant, I'm going to tell you this right now. Other people won't agree with me and some people will find it stupid and try to argue "so they use a weapon implemented in the game and your getting mad at them?" Know at this point that I don't give a shit if you comment that, because everybody has different opinions and for you to say that isn't needed, as I'm RANTING
Now, let's get on with the rant.
This rant is about the knifing system on CoD. I joined black ops 2 today after not having been on it for a year, and the first thing I see when I get in the game? People only knifing. I was in a game with three people knifing only. Nobody wants to join a game and get shocked by a charge, and all the sudden see somebody come out of nowhere out the side of your view to where you can't turn and just shank you. These people literally try the most annoying ways to kill you, and it's sad because it works. This isn't just bo3 either, same thing was happening on bo1 and mw2. I know that knifes are in the game, but come on. Knifing for 20 straight games in a row is not cool. I had seen someone with a diamond ballistic knife, I can understand getting the challenges and what not and doing it occasionally for fun, but I played eight straight games with this guy, and all he did was knife and tomahawk. It's all 1 hit kills that are guaranteed if you fall into their traps which you have to waste a perk slot on to counter. I like to get fair fights in, and that cannot happen when they have half a team running around with knifes sticking to the edges of the maps.

the reason that knife kills are one hit kills is because they arent easy to get(excluding panic kills which this rant isnt about). Ive gone knife only many times and well its not easy. I dont see you complaining about quick scopers when they can one hit no scope you by accident across a map. Atleast with a knife only player they have to be right in your face. If youre an observant player and not someone who rushes people who knife only become easy kills.
Also if these people were annoying you that much why didnt you just back out and find a different server ?

I 100% agree with you. I seen someone today on Black Ops 3, and someone with a wrench wouldn't stop killing me. They were a freaking prestige master too, like shouldn't you be trying you ass off in Team Deathmatch?

This guy had a ratio of 2.00 knifing only, so it was working well. Sometimes I complain about quickscopers but you don't get that much of them on Treyarchs games. And trust me, I backed out of a few games, those weren't the only people knifing. When you play on PC, you can only join so few games before you get put with the same people. Also if I was one hit no scoped across the map I wouldn't even complain, that stuff is sort of cool. Whenever you die ~6 times in the same game by a guy who knifes though? Not cool. I don't want to HAVE to resort to camping to not die by them, as it isn't my play style, and even if I did camp, after these people have been chunking tomahawks at people for 8 games straight they sort of get good at it, which would let them kill me if I was to camp. Knifing only CAN be not easy, but have the right perks and equipment and you're almost set. Toss a Betty and a charge around a corner and the first person to run into it is either dead, or dropped to the ground, if it was the latter then the knifes comes out and knifes as you are laying.

You know, one thing I hate more than shotgunners or snipers is knifers. Like come on man.

I do agree with you some what but the knifes don't really make me mad.
I hate how the pistols are more OP than a assault rifle or machine gun.
And for Bo3 I can't even play that shit game with their shit servers, I lag so damn hard but I don't lag on others CoDs one bit.

Its very easy to outgun or outplay a guy running a knife only, I mean they're at a huge disadvantage. You have a gun. They have a knife. Profit???
It's pretty fun running knife only though, gives you a challenge. I don't run into them that often anyways.

Easy indeed, but if you aren't exactly face to face with them, then they have the advantage. All it takes is to be caught offguard from a shock charge and you're finished

Even if I have a knife, I still couldn't do what they do because I am not a high enough level to get the perks and equipment they use. A level 55 who can OBVIOUSLY prestige but doesn't and only uses a knife are what annoy me the most. I can't play Bo3 because my internet is good enough, but that's a different story. I like playing true older CoDs for nostalgia. But when people run around using secondaries that were meant to be secondaries like a Kap-40 and Combat knife, and treating them as primaries are what get me. And saying its a part of the game doesn't justify anything. That's like backuping up the noobtubers on mw2 who literally ONLY noobtube throughout their entire nuking career. Sure it's in the game, but just because it's in the game doesn't mean that you should do it. It's borderline exploitation.
