You bent CPU pins while removing thermal paste?

I really don't think you should be anywhere near a PC...




In all seriousness though, have you tried putting lighter fluid or thermal paste remover on the groove? It should be enough to remove it.

Im 16 and the first time I took off the CPU Cooler is was easy and clean but it was stuck maybe because I hadn't played it in over a week. The CPU pins came out with the heatsink when my dad removed it today.
