SlNATRA wrote Wouldn't get any of them for your first car,

You wouldn't be able to handle the car you'd need to be driving for years to be able to drive a car like that, the insurance would go through the roof and you would probably kill yourself In it, no lie.

What are you talking about LMAO. These cars arent even hard to handle. The BRZ only puts out 200hp and thats at the crank. Both of these cars are slow (same car really).

I woudlnt buy these cars becuase they are not work 30k. So many better cars for cheaper and faster and better looking.

But OP get what you want. The forums full of jealous people

200 HP + little weight = fast car. My truck only has 260 HP if I remember right and it's decently fast, but it's also 6k lbs. Sorry not everyone can be you MagnaFlow, the majority of drivers just starting out can't handle a fast car. You know who agrees with me on that? A lot of the people on this forum, your insurance (which is why insurance is so high for a beginner driver on a fast car), the wrecking yard where your car gets towed, the hospital, etc.

From personal experience, fast cars and beginner drivers dont mix well together, regardless of how much the car costs (especially if you did not personally purchase it)

I can understand both arguments from MagnaFlow and 002, but I'm going to have to agree with 002 here. He is right in saying that the car is light and will be quite powerful to a new driver, not to mention how it handles in bad weather with it being rear wheel drive. Yes, it has TCS etc but it's still rear wheel drive.

Don't let that stop you buying one though man, they are great cars in my opinion I'm sure you will enjoy driving it. I do believe that the BRZ has more optional extras in comparison to the FRS.

Hahahhaha look at these salty people. Don't listen to any of them and get yourself a nice car lol. They are obviously just mad they can't afford it. At 16 I got a 2014 Mercedes Benz C350 Sport Coupe and it was priced above $30k. You should've seen the faces of the kids at my school hahahah screw them man.

Look up acceleration times for the cars. The automatic version of the car is SIXTEEN seconds for a quarter mile. My moms grand prix runs it faster than that. Its not a fast car, I dont care about the power to weight ratio. Everyone who buys these cars immediately upgrade with turbos. They may look fast, but they are not. Also, they handle very well. SO tell me how someone with a slow car that handles well is gonna crash it easier than something like a grandprix or 2003 impala. Its not a special car other than looks, and it has aftermarket potential.
