Why get the 4690 when a 4460 is pretty much the same and cheaper, or why not go Skylake?
anyway, what case do you have so when know what form factor you need.

Also what PSU do you have? Your PC is a brebuilt and most likely has a crap PSU.

This is the PC you have from what I found online?

It's a shame you still refuse to listen to help to be honest, but whatever, we tried.

You'd have been far better off with what I suggested already;

Upgrading to Haswell instead of sticking with SB or just grabbing an IB i5/Xeon was stupid, especially since your GPU sucks. Should've just stuck with your i3, which is fine, bought a V2 Xeon/i5-3***, or went with Skylake if you were getting a new motherboard anyway.

So you spent like $750 then. You'd have been better off with a Xeon E3-1240 V2 and an R9 380. Would have been a good $150+ cheaper for a higher end CPU, and better GPU. You could have actually gotten an R9 390, or GTX 970 or something within budget as well as an 8 core Xeon.

If the i5 is fine for you, you could've spent even less and picked up an old SB/IB i5 for like $250 or so, probably, instead of $350 for the Xeon.
