I have a legitimate copy of Windows 7 HP on disc and want to copy it to a flash drive so I put it on my new PC when I get it.

I am using the Windows USB/DVD Tool provided by Microsoft. I get here and don't know what to do.

Yeah, I figured that out. I'm making an ISO copy right now.

You can use the following link to download the ISO from Microsoft as long as its a retail copy, it will not work with OEM vesions of Windows.

Edit: forgot to add the link lololol

I've used a few tools over the years, and win to flash is one of the better ones. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Will allow you to make bootable flash drives that can install more than on OS, and you can make a bootable flashdrive right from the dvd/cd no need to make an ISO image first.
