I am looking to get a laptop for Christmas, I have around a $300 budget so somewhere around there would be great. I want to get something that can run some games like minecraft and some emulators like that, nothing too much. will mainly use it to browse the web and watch YouTube videos and things like that. please and thanks !

You'd probably be better off building a cheap pc. Do you absolutely NEED a laptop?

I would prefer a laptop, I really wouldn't know what to do if I was building a pc to be honest. and I don't have a monitor so I think a laptop would be my best bet

Well good luck then. If you get a $300 LAPTOP it might be able to run minecraft with optifine with everything on low/off and even then you may need a texturepack to lower the quality of things. Trust me, I have a $400 toshiba i got for christmas when it was on sale for like $300 a couple years ago. It sucks and can barely handle minecraft.
