Bhoy wrote 352 mass shootings in 336 days... what other first world country has anything close to that? Oh wait, nobody does.

Exactly 250 of those "mass shootings" included 1 killed or less. More than 140 of the 250 had no deaths at all.

Bhoy wrote I can admit that the conservatives are a terrible government and I don't want a monarchy yet from your comments, I can assume you still want guns.

My point still stands, the USA is a joke with guns.

That is because it's been proven that guns are used literally dozens of times more often to protect life than to take life.

Thank the lord, only 100 mass shootings this year where more than 1 person died...

And thank the lord for guns as well, they protect us against people with guns.

You can tell that to the families of the next school which gets shot up.

Keep guns as they are, this will continue to happen and it's almost guaranteed there is going to be another mass shooting within a week.

(And your 'source' is from 1997 with stats from 1994).

How about this instead?

Pretty simple to see the difference, and the FBI is a somewhat trustworthy source if you don't mind me using that.

If you aren't going to talk about what happened in San Bernardino, then get the f*ck of my post. No one cares about your opinion.

Alright mate, calm down. Sorry if I hurt your feelings.

As I've said, my thoughts are with the casualties, families and friends of the victims.

I feel like countless civilians are being killed because of reasons which need fixed, and if I have an opinion relating to the topic then I'll say it.

I was responded to and I'll respond back, I don't see you telling the other guy to stop posting because he has an opinion and he isn't talking about this specific topic... oh wait, you agree with him so you're not going to.

Don't be hypocritical, I'll share my view if I want and I'll respond if someone responds to me with a counter argument.

This post is to inform everyone, and keep everyone up-to-date with the situation in San Bernardino. Not so you can argue and post your propaganda, imprecise, outdated, stereotypical "facts" about which country has more competent gun laws.

I am done posting here, you should do the same.

The US is not a joke when it comes to gun control. We are a big country and it's not easy to control the problem. If any other country was the size of us, they would have the same issues that the US has and that's a fact.

On topic:

Glad to see at a topic like this with much info, was at work so coming home seeing the updated info was nice. Here is some rep for the work.

Bhoy wrote Alright, fair enough.

I'd rather you didn't single out me to stop talking when I wasn't the only one just because you don't agree with me but I'm done if Lavish would also agree to stop.

Cya.

Just stop replying to the topic, you don't have to reply to it every time he does, get back on topic, this is pointless fighting on a serious topic that includes tragedy.

ON TOPIC:
Update: "Officials said the man and woman were dressed in assault style clothing and had assault rifles.

The ATF said two rifles and twp handguns recovered in their investigation and officials are working to trace the serial numbers on the weapons.

Officers swarmed a neighborhood about a mile from the SUV shootout, apparently in a hunt for a possible third gunman.

A person seen running from the scene was detained, police confirmed. Officials would not call the person the third suspect, but just a person of interest.

Officers also searched a home several miles away in Redlands."

Updated- Name of one of the shooters has been released as Syed Farook. "Law enforcement officials have identified Syed Farook as one of the suspected shooters who attacked a center for the disabled in San Bernardino, California, according to NBC News. I'd like to note for all the UK people viewing this thread, as TTG is heavily trafficked by that country, that in all 50 states automatic weapons are illegal unless they have a Federal Firearms License, the same license required by gun stores to be able to purchase firearms from manufactures. The process to get a FFL is rigorous, long, and generally hard as hell to get.

TLDR; If you see that automatic weapons were involved, that means they were almost certainly obtained illegally and current gun regulation didn't deter criminals from being criminals.

I've updated this with every thing known as of today.

tldr;

Husband (worked at the facility) and Wife shooters, had been in contact with terrorists who were already on FBI radar. Male shooter was at the facility for a party of sorts, stormed out, came back with wife, both heavily armed and opened fire. Motive is unknown. Shooting was well planned and thought out. Their home was heavily supplied with more than enough for another attack, said the chief of SBPD.

Criminals choosing not to follow the law? I would've never thought that possible.

or just use uk gun laws. we seem to be doing alright

do you want me to sit here and explain to you about the undground gun trades, the triangle of the goverment, the circle of the law and the center of probhibited weapons?
I'll be here for ages, the United Kingdom has alot of weapons, you could give an estimate of 1/10 of the uk have weapons. This being knifes, knucklebusters, guns, live shells, anything from a blade to a highly explosive grenade.
