Hey TTG, I am looking to help a friend build a gaming pc for around $740 including the cpu(and cpu cooler/fan), gpu, case, motherboard(must have wifi capability), storage (no need for ssd), psu, operating system (Windows 10), and memory. Because of the modest budget i am thinking that this build should be AMD based with the gpu and cpu to help save a bit of money but still get great performance.

My friend would like this build to run most of the popular games like CS:GO, Call of Duty, FIFA, etc on medium to high settings at 1080p with 60FPS. He is open to pre built computer options but i feel that buying parts individually will help maximize performance and save money.

Note: we are trying to buys these parts on sale around the cyber monday week/day sales, and would like to build the computer by at least Christmas.

Thanks in advance for all help and suggestions!
Brian

Thanks for the build it looks nice but do u think u could revise the build to have an amd cpu instead of intel to save a bit of cash but still have similar performance? Also i was not able to find the Windows 10 OS on Reddit or G2A could you link me?

Thanks,
Brian

No point getting an AMD CPU, at all. There is no equivalent AMD CPU anyway.

Buy Win7, 8 or 8.1 since you get a free upgrade to W10 anyway. So, just buy whatever 64 bit OS is cheapest.

If anyone could take a look at this and tell me your thoughts relating to the criteria listed above, i would greatly appreciate it. I included the extra stuff too so it went a bit over but overall let me know if this is a good build.
