Hello, so I recently bought a PC and I got windows 7 64 bit. I saw a lot of people were upgrading to windows 10, which I might be interseted in. I want to know a few things before i do it.

1. So it says upgrade for free, so does that mean I won't ever have to pay for it or what?
2. Anyone know any pros and cons?
3. If i dont like it, is there a way to downgrade back to windows 7?

Finally, will I have to re-download anything or not?

Thanks

1. I believe it's free for the first year.
2. Not sure the pros/cons. Personally had no issues using it so far, honestly think it was worth the upgrade.
3. You have a month to decide before it's locked in.

Everything will transfer over as normal. Could be worth making a backup if you have anything important. I transferred over with no problems.

Overall, I like windows 10. It works well for me and I've had no issues. Also have heard that other users didn't like it or did run into problems. May as well go for the switch and see if you like it.

1) yes it is free, you will never have to pay for it.
2) a simple Google search will answer this.
3) Yes you can downgrade.
4) No, it will not delete anything.

I personally like windows 10 because I really liked widows 7, but when windows 8 came it kinda took the windows 7 style away...and windows 10 combines the both of them.

So, sounds good, you guys are convincing me which is what I like.. Now your saying free for the 1st year, so how much will it cost when it comes out?

Since your questions are already answered I'll give my opinion.

I like it just as much as 7. It is user friendly and easy to navigate and gives it a much sleeker look.

Give it a try.

If you don't download it within the year is when you have to pay for it.

I don't think its a yearly subscription..
