I'd like to Rant about what seems to be the lack of PC gamers for games like CoD. I myself am not a huge CoD fan, but I enjoy playing the Zombies mode of the game. For the Console, the community is HUGE. Millions. However, when you're on the PC..There are only a couple thousand people, if that. This makes getting new friends and matches hard to come across.

Maybe because some people don't have the required specs to play the game or they can't afford to upgrade their PC to allow them to play CoD on high/ultra settings.

'High/Ultra' Lol. A PC costing the same price as a console can run the game at the same, if not better, quality. Not ever PC has to cost someone 3K+

£200-£230? Nah, I don't think so. 'Lol.'

More people just want a casual experience. They also usually think they cost a boatload when that's not true, considering all the extra things they can do. I think it's slowly growing. I have bo3 on xbox and pc and play it on xbox. Tbh cod is made with consoles in mind. Almost Every other game besides exclusives I play ony pc. Only reason I bought this cod on pc was the announcement of modding and mapping tools in the future. The PC community plays other games man.

For me, it's a mix between this and the overall direction of CoD in general.

CoD went from an environmental tactical fast paced shooter (cod4/waw) to "who can get the most insane 420 noscope kill feed" (mw2+), and that's when I started losing interest.

I bought BO2 (for zombies) after I switched from console to PC, and was pretty disappointed. Haven't bought another CoD since then, and probably wont be buying one ever again.

There are many PC exclusive games that offer better gameplay, community, and mod support.

Cod is generally a console game. It sells on PC sure but the bulk of its audience is on consoles.

Meanwhile, there are 9Million active users on steam right now playing a multitude of games with Dota 2 coming top at 800,000 users playing it now. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Thats not including non-steam games like LoL where there are 27 million daily users last year. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Pc gaming is huge, have a look around and find a hole that you want to sit in.

Their are better shooter games made for the pc. Cod is mainly for console gamers imo.

If they actually go through with modding and mapping tools I think black ops 3 will eventually be great on pc. I believe they haven't done it since WaW. Plus close alpha isn't going to be released until match of next year, so we'll see how that goes. Made the switch to pc gaming 3 years ago and best decision I ever made. Worst was probably buying a xbox one for $450 that I would end up playing for less than 24 hours that whole year. Although I'm enjoying BO3 on xbox atm. I shouldn't have bought it at the time. Upgrading my setup would have been a better decision.
