I would like to know when building a PC would you prefer to have an AMD in this build or an Intel? Many people said to get and Intel but I don't know what to get with this build!

Well you'll need one, and neither is better then the other.

Your build is Ok, not what I'd buy, but it will play some games at 1080p.

What happened to this?;

Could easily get a far better rig, but ignore our help if you wish. If you're going to ignore us though, there's no point continuing to ask us for assistance.

Yes I thought that one was better as well Sanctorum!
But people say this one is better...are you for sure that one is better?
If so I will plan on switching!

And on that build why Intel over AMD?

Then they don't have a clue what they're talking about. There's absolutely no way that an APU rig is better than what I suggested. The 260x is more powerful than the graphics performance of the A10-7850K, and the i3 is a stronger CPU. APU's are fine for budget rigs, but when you can get a decent CPU and decent dedicated GPU within budget, APU makes no sense. The i3 will be far better for any editing/rendering you do, and will be more than enough for CSGO and similar games. It'll even let you play AAA titles at 1080p, granted, at low-medium settings, still better than console though.

Your next best option would be something like this;

I'd take the i3 rig though.

You wouldn't be able to sensibly fit an i5 into your budget.

You can't afford an i5. An i3 will do fine.

How much Over would it be? I am willing to spend $400 MAX!
So please let me know because I could go to $400 if Needed.
Also do you know any Black Matte Case? I was looking at the NZXT S340 Black, I will be having my mom buy this for me for christmas if you recommend it.

Nevermind I have put the NZXT S340 as my Case and I put in a $22 Gaming Keyboard and mouse in!
But how do I choose what Operating System to get?
Id also Like it to be 64 Bit.
