Gaming should not be done on wireless period. Be it a Xbox,PS4 or a gaming pc.

You are just asking for trouble.

The only thing I allow wireless in my environment are laptops,tablets and cells everything else has to be wired because I care about consistent performance.

Yes we get it, wired connection is the best but not everybody can use it, like if your console is upstairs but your router is downstairs. Sure you could still use wired but for convenience wireless would be better.
