The title says it all. Cod has always come out on a Tuesday, can someone explain?

It makes more sense for them to release it on a Friday. Everyone can come home from work/school and play the game all weekend.

Where more people are able to play it. Its probably just a marketing thing. The more copies that they can sell on day one or more people that they can get online on day one. IDK Im not 100% sure but atlas thats why I think it comes out friday

Well my friend, Treyarch has decided that when a new release of CoD comes out on a Tuesday, kids are in school, and people have to work. With the release date being on a Friday, it gives kids and adults the chance to grind out the game for a full weekend. I personally think this is an awesome idea because I go to school during the week and cannot miss a week of school to grind out Black Ops 3. With it being on a Friday I can miss Friday of school and get the game at midnight and grind through the weekend, hopefully to prestige once or twice.

I thought the purpose of releasing on a Tuesday was for the servers to not go crazy due to all the people getting on

its cause every tuesday dvds come out so devs try to release games at the same time maybe but hell dont complain about a weekend release
