Ok my friends can hear me when I talk but when they talk I can't hear the I've tried hard resetting: didn't work , updated controller: didn't work, energy saving mode: didn't work so if anyone had or has the same problem what should I do to fix it oh and I'm also on the new xb1 update thanks

Same happened to me. One controller works and another doesn't. The one that doesn't is brand new too.

what kind of mic? brand? are you using the adapter or do you have the updated controller with the 3.5mm jack?

I've got turtle beaches and the adapter I have is the one you get with the turtle beach mic

Click down in the bottom corner of the adapter then click up a couple of times on the right side of the adapter. Lemme know if that works or not.

have you tried unplugging the adapter and plunging back in. Is the chat volume up?
