So my problem is that some games won't work if i install them to other than C: drive

I have Steam installed to D: drive and i'm trying to install Far Cry 3 to D: drive
as soon i launch the game it stops responding. I had the exact same problem with Saints Row IV

I really hate to install games on my 120GB SSD as it it has only 30GB free space left

Would be really nice to know why it does this

Did you check to see if maybe your intergrated graphics wernt trying to run the game? Make sure the Dedicated card is taking over at game launch.
