so when ever i click the plus to open a new tab it opens to some yahoo search and when i click on most things it goes to yahoo when i have google set as my home things, how do i fix this?

Go to your settings, and there should be an option for homepage, autosearch, internet browser, or something along those lines.

EDIT: Im on mobile, but I should look like this on PC;

i went through all of my setting and there is nothing that says anything about yahoo.com

You probably installed something and forgot to check off some option that installed adware on your PC.

Check your installed programs and see if there's anything that seems odd (something you haven't installed yet it's there).

Start -> Control Panel -> Programs/Programs and Features

nope didnt download anything weird or atleast everything looks fine

looks different and i can't find anything anywhere about yahoo

Hmm... could you post a screenshot of your current Chrome settings and your extension list?

You can always uninstall and reinstall Chrome, if nothing seems to fix your problem.

Here is how to fix the issue.

Open under the hood ->
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Then go to settings ->
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Then go to manage search engines ->
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Then set your default search engine to Google out of the list you have -> [

You can also go ahead and delete other search engine options if you want them gone.

did that and deleted every thing other then google and still have the issue
