I'm an 18 year old student studying Art&Graphics Design at A level hoping to study it at University, however my portfolio is very small with not many pieces of work to put in it, has anyone got any recommendations or ways to build up a portfolio.

Find a photo site that lets you create albums, such as photobucket or carbonmade. As for work to put into them, practice some of the things you are studying and add some of your own skill to them. Add some things you create to the album, maybe open a shop? Can put the requests you complete into the albums.

Just create something you're interested in and put all of your effort into it. Just keep repeating that until you have a good amount of work.

What I have been doing is,
Find something you really like,
then try to replicate it.

Do this for a while,
then try to make your own piece.
