I haven't had a good PC in a long time and I can't remember. Is having the temperature of a video card between 40 degrees Celsius and 70 degrees Celsius bad?

This is my card right now just idling

This is my card when I run a game like Bioshock Infinite

I'm just worried that its going to overheat and will break or something

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Seems about right. What is it whilst running under load?

That temperature is fine for your card, I've had my 970 at 75 degrees without problems.

Once the card reaches a hot enough temperature, it will throttle so it doesn't over heat.

If you're worried about temperatures then you can always download [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and set a custom fan curve that suites you.
