Ya I don't understand the hype about shoes in general. I have one pair of shoes that I wear that I've had for like 4-5 years that work just fine and a pair of Nike slides that I got for Christmas 2 years ago. Instead of spending 130$ on a pair of shoes I'd rather just waste it on CSGO cases and get nothing out of it

I meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeean how is this a rant man? Its a brand name that happened to be from the US. Of course people are going to wear them, now I dont think they all look good ive owned 2 pairs of jordans in my life and thats because I liked they way they look.

Not a big deal lol what you find to look good I might find to look bad.

I just don't get why people would choose that clothing article to be obsessive about, but hey, if they enjoy it who cares.

Mainly because it makes the person buying it feel good and more confident. PLUS if you are wearing lets just say bape, and you see someone else wearing bape its an automatic connection. Especially here in florida, like NO ONE wears it.. not a bad thing im just saying you know if you see someone else with it maybe a lil cutie you know, its like wow hey bape.

I guess I can see the branding standpoint on it, but I feel like (in most places at least) Jordans really aren't rare enough to stand out.

It's like seeing someone else wearing a pair of Nike SBs or Vans or something, you might notice them, but they aren't exactly sticking out as someone with similar interests or anything.

But with things like Bape, Supreme, etc I can see that because it really isn't uncommon and that whole higher fashion subculture is fairly tight. I could see there being a bit more of a connection as there aren't very many other people into that sort of thing.

Off Topic: I wish I could afford some Bape/Supreme stuff, some of their clothes are so sick.
After I get a car and a few other big purchases I'll have to get into that.

Coming from a sneaker head with multiple pairs of shoes, I'm not into the new releases because quality has gone to shit on a lot of the pairs but I love how most look. Very clean and comfortable.

I never understood the concept. They are really expensive, these kids are afraid to get them dirty, and they look like they have no traction at all.

I do like some of them but I am not a fan of Jordan's. At my school like everyone has them and some of them are so ugly. Most likely I will never own a pair of them.

Some people collect cars, some collect guns, and some collect shoes. It is just a preference.

They are popular because people are followers. We follow trends. Everybody follows another in some way. It's how the world has always worked.
