The LCD broke some how. To fix it you have to change the screen.

I don't get why it went away,
But I did have white lines on my laptop once and it was because I fried the screen from being on it so much.
Maybe they are similar issues?

Yea there's two main connections that connects the screen to the logic board. A LCD digitiser and a touch digitiser, so one that registers picture, one that registers touch. I would imagine that when putting it down the LCD digitiser came a little loose ,but taking off the screen probably moved it back in place. Glad it's all fixed

Yea it could be a few things really. It was definitely a loose connection of some kind it sounds like though
