All my parents hear with my music, Screamo, metalcore, etc etc is the screaming, but I hear the meaning behind the song. I personally enjoy that type of music and it actually helps me to focus when I am designing and what not.

I can relate, my bud was reading and doing some science homework, he couldn't concentrate so he pulled up some Slipknot on his phone and it made him concentrate/focus much better, after that he quickly finished.

Love that shit. Heavy metal to me is stuff like Metallica and AC/DC, but I love metal and metalcore genres as a whole. Deathcore is probably my favourite, but Slipknot are great with their Nu-Metal
